Dental Studios Scotland is an award-winning dental group with 6 practices located across Ayrshire & Glasgow. We are dedicated to providing top-quality, comprehensive dental care to patients in Scotland with a sizeable Private & NHS patient base. With a team of highly skilled and experienced dental professionals, our practice is committed to providing personalized care to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Our state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with the latest dental technologies including a fully computerised working environment, SOE software, iTero 3D imaging scanners, digital x-rays and in our Kilmarnock Implant Centre; a state-of-the-art CBCT Scanner. We believe in staying up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry to ensure our patients receive the best possible care, as well as providing ample training opportunities.

About The Role

Dental Studios Scotland is seeking a Dental Nurse to join our growing team. No matter your experience level, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with patients.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with our team of dental professionals to provide excellent patient care.
• Assisting our dental professionals during procedures, including passing instruments and providing suction to keep the patient's mouth dry.
• Sterilising and preparing dental instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-procedure care.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and processing payments.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the dental practice, including disinfecting surfaces and maintaining inventory of supplies.

Requirements

About the Company

We welcome applicants with no experience as full on the job training with be provided. However the below are desired.

• Proven experience working as a dental nurse, with knowledge of dental procedures and equipment.
(Preferred).
• GDC Registration (Preferred)
• Proven track record of providing high-quality dental care to patients. (Preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with patients.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
