Bushra Bashir – Dentist

Bushra graduated from The University Of Glasgow with a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology before obtaining her degree in Dentistry at The University of Aberdeen. She has since worked in Stevenston before joining our practice in Troon in 2015. Bushra furthered her studies by successfully completing her membership qualification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Bushra has a special interest in treating anxious patients and is trained to carry out inhalation sedation. In 2016 she completed a year long Tipton course in order to advance her skills in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Bushra is also trained to carry out short term orthodontic treatment and enjoys providing people with straight teeth in up to 6 months using the CFast and Invisalign systems. She is currently undertaking a masters degree in orthodontics at the University if Warwick to develop her skills further.
In September 2016 Bushra undertook a two week trip to Malawi with the charity Smileawi. They provided dental aid to those in the most deprived areas of the country and took out over 2000 teeth!
When not at work Bushra enjoys travelling, reading, baking and listening to Beyoncé.
Chris – Dentist

Originally from Aberdeen, Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Glasgow University and subsequently worked in multiple practices in Dundee before moving to Troon Dental Studio in 2017.
He particularly enjoys aesthetic dentistry and takes a patient centred approach to all of his treatments. This includes ensuring they are involved in decision making at each stage, and taking the time to answer any questions they might have. Chris is currently working towards the Membership of the Joint Faculties examination from the Royal College of Surgeons England.
In his spare time Chris can be found hillwalking or several strokes above par on the golf course. He is also a keen follower of motorsport and a film enthusiast.
I previously worked within mental health before starting my training as a dental nurse. Dentistry has always been something that has interested me as there are lots of different aspects. I am enjoying learning new things every day and gaining more knowledge from many of different professionals. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my dogs and family.
Hi I’m Tammie I am 34 years old. I started as a trainee dental nurse at Troon dental.studio in August 2019. I am really enjoying my time at Troon dental studio. When I can I like to visit different countries on holiday. I love visiting Asia and have managed to visit a few places including South Korea.

Selina – Hygiene Therapist
Now settled in Ayrshire I joined Troon Dental Studio in February this year and work with the dentists to provide the best treatment and a range of care to patients. I enjoy working with children and anxious patients, making dental appointments relaxing and pain-free.
I attend courses to keep up to date to provide patients with the latest information and treatment techniques to use my remit to its fullest potential.
I am a keen dog lover and supporter of my home football team Ross County. In my spare time, I play football, swim and socialise with my friends and family.
My name is Pamela and I am the Reception Manager at Troon Dental Studio. I qualified as a dental nurse in 2011 and worked in the Ayr practice as a dental nurse and then receptionist for seven years before moving to Troon to take up the position of Reception Manager.
