“6 Second Toothbrush”

Within the Technology section of the news, I stumbled across this article in which Dentists from manufacturer Blizzadent have used  the scans used by dentists to create braces alongside a 3d printer to create bespoke toothbrushes for each customer. Each brush will contain in excess of 400 soft bristles in which the wearer  is required to grind their teeth in order to clean.

Medical research and new technology is important to the industry and something the team at Dental Studios Scotland actively support, but until this new toothbrush has been tried and tested, with a price tag of 299 Euros we recommend our patients continue to follow their dentists instructions for brushing, and visit the dentist regularly for a scale & polish.

A regular hygienist visit is also recommended, contact your local practice to find out availability.
